Playlists with folders, favorites, queue, radio mode, gapless playback with optional crossfade, offline downloads and cross-device sync — the polished flow of a modern streaming app, built for retro audio.

Visualizers

Milkdrop (projectM) with several packs of presets, live tracker pattern view, piano-roll notes, a falling-notes piano — one keyboard or one per voice — per-voice oscilloscopes, spectrum and CRT glow. Fullscreen, on every platform.

Rich context

Games, systems, composers, groups, demoparties with podium rankings, release years, artwork — and the demo videos where each scene tune was heard, playable inline.

Chip-level control

Mute or solo every chip voice, tweak per-engine filters and stereo, loop & fade settings, downloadable SoundFonts or your own Roland MT-32 ROMs for MIDI — and import your own files, folders and archives (ZIP, 7z, RAR, LHA) into a Local library that survives updates.

  • A Roland MT-32 engine for the MIDI music of old PC games, played with your own ROMs
  • Ten more module formats, and Westwood .adl tunes now play every one of their tracks instead of only the silent first one
  • A real mini player on the Mac, plus “Always on top”
  • The visualizers name and colour each instrument, stand still while nothing plays and cap at 60 fps
  • Filter the tunes that placed on a demoscene competition podium
  • Drop a whole folder into your imports, and organise your folders
  • Fixed: the wrong song on PC Engine, Master System and SNDH, MIDI drums playing as a piano, and far less battery when nothing is playing
